Slightly uphill going
In a cycle-friendly city like Seattle, it should not be hard to rent a bike. Maybe I didn't do enough research or maybe I was unlucky but it was. Hard. However I found something eventually and used it to go and buy a little one-man tent at a friendly downtown camping store.
I may come back to this page later and enlarge on the knotty issue of american bullshit but maybe not until I have met more people, especially like the chap in the map shop who found me a great variety of guides that, within 24 hours, got me out of a small geographical difficulty.
